Birth story - Mum and baby girl
This first time mum had an unplanned cesarean at 40 weeks, due to undiagnosed breech baby. She says, ‘Without the knowledge of what I learnt in my Positive Birth Course things would’ve been a lot more stressful. Andrea had her baby in hospital by cesarean, due to babies measurements, at 42 weeks. Amanda is a second time mum who had her twins in hospital at 37 weeks. Twin a was born vaginally but then within minutes twin b was delivered by emergency cesarean. Amanda says, ‘I truly would have been so nervous if it weren’t for all the beautiful stories and positive tools I learnt. After not progressing past 8cm dilation for 6 hours, doctors suggested options and Ash and her husband made the informed decision to have a cesarean, which was the best choice for them and their baby.
