Birth story - Tammy and baby boy

I just wanted to say that I have recently had my third baby. With my first and second I ended up in theatre and having forceps deliveries. I was determined that my third birth would be a much more positive experience.

I brought the book and read it through and really enjoyed it. It helped me with breathing techniques and taught me things I never knew about birthing.

My waters broke at 10.15pm and my contractions were very strong, I breathed through every single one, staying calm and telling myself my body can do this and remained standing rather than laying on the bed. I had pain relief at 3.10am, and our baby boy was born on the delivery unit at 4.19am.

If I hadn’t read your book beforehand I think I would have panicked! Thank you for teaching me the amazing techniques, I will definitely be recommending the book to other pregnant ladies xx
