Birth story - Robyn and baby Blaire
Our beautiful baby girl born in the early hours of Monday morning after having surges from 8:30 on Saturday morning.
Everything progressed very fast and if I hadn’t been practising my breathing and focusing on visualisation I don’t think I would have managed to stay as calm as I did.
I stayed at 3cm dilated for over 39 hours, then went from 4cm to 10cm in 5 hours and had her half an hour after I started pushing. Only used my breathing techniques, gas and air and some visualisation.
April 22nd will always be known as my baby girls birthday, but I’ll always celebrate my body too!
