How to import your own audio into the Freya App


Find your chosen audio file to begin…

From WhatsApp:

  • Tap and hold on the voice note until the menu appears.

  • Tap ‘Forward’

  • Tap the ‘Share’ icon to open the share sheet.

  • With the share sheet open, tap on Freya in the list of apps - you may need to scroll right and tap on ‘More’ if Freya is not visible immediately.

  • Freya will open to the ‘Import Your Own Track’ page, where you can give your track a name and save it.

From imessage:

  • Tap and hold on the the voice note, until the menu appears.

  • Tap ‘Save’.

  • Then open Voice Memos app, where you will find your saved voice note in the list of Recordings.

  • Tap the three dots menu icon on the voice note.

  • Tap ‘Share’ to open the share sheet.

  • With the share sheet open, tap on Freya in the list of apps - you may need to tap on ‘More’ if Freya does not appear to begin with.

  • Freya will open to the ‘Import Your Own Track’ page, where you can give your track a name and save it.

From Files:

  • Tap and hold on the file, until the menu appears.

  • Tap ‘Share’ to open the share sheet.

  • With the share sheet open, tap on Freya in the list of apps - you may need to scroll right and tap on ‘More’ if Freya is not visible immediately.

From Voice Memos:

  • Tap the three dots menu icon on the recording you wish to add.

  • Tap ‘Share’ to open the share sheet.

  • With the share sheet open, tap on Freya in the list of apps - you may need to tap on ‘More’ if Freya does not appear to begin with.

  • Freya will open to the ‘Import Your Own Track’ page, where you can give your track a name and save it.
