Birth story - Hala and baby Salman

My due date was 30 Oct, however on the night of 3rd Oct my waters broke whilst I was laying in bed meditating & thinking “Baby will arrive when baby is ready” !!

After the first gush of water which was around 10:30 PM, at 11 PM I started having surges so I made my way to hospital after a quick call to labour ward.

I remained calm and focused in the triage room as I felt the surges getting stronger. At 12:30 I was moved to the labour suite where I felt ready to put my headphones on & listen to words of encouragement & positivity. Surges were getting much stronger and I started having the urge to push.

I managed to get myself on the bed & as soon as I opened my legs wide, baby arrived .

Hypnobirthing is wonderful & it helped me progress through labour so quickly & easily.

Congratulations to all new mums & all the best to those expecting! xx
